About Us
Find us the heart of the state capital Düsseldorf…
…where our steadily growing and internationally active auction house has been based since we were founded in 2007. The managing directors, Frank and Susanne Hargesheimer, have many years of experience in the art trade and are eager to share their great passion for art and antiques.
As a member of the Bundesverband deutscher Kunstversteigerer and the Art Loss Register, we are committed to the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and transparency for our clients.
Our specialties
We hold at least eight auctions annually, in the autumn, winter, and spring. Each auction is focused on one or more of our specialty departments: classical art and antiques including sculptures, paintings, decorative arts, carpets, and furniture, as well as Asian art.
Our auctions of Russian art and important Russian and Greek icons are held in the pre-Easter period in April and the pre-Christmas period in November, conveniently for Russian collectors, institutions and oligarchs who are looking for gifts for the Orthodox High Festivals. This is a passionate specialty of ours, and our offerings are comparable in quality and quantity to those anywhere in the world.
We have expanded our specialty auctions of Modern and Contemporary art as well as jewellery and watches. These sparkling assets in our calendar are featured regularly in June and December.
Our service
We are a team of about 20 passionate experts and staff members who support our clients with experience in the art trade, art historical knowledge, and personalized customer service. We offer valuation and sale of estates, collections, and individual art objects, throughout Germany and Europe. We are happy to assist you with free, no-obligation valuation of your art objects, provide condition reports, or answer any other questions you may have.
For each of our auctions, we present a carefully-assembled variety of artworks and antiques, catering specifically to our wide-ranging domestic and international clientele: collectors, dealers, museums, and art enthusiasts.
